Halloween

Halloween is still one of my favorite holidays and I'm so glad my kids enjoy it as much as I do.  We met up with our good friends and neighbors , The Rosenhagens, for our annual trick or treat around the neighborhood.  It was a little cold so after a few houses Cassidy stayed in the car with Matt.  However, I do believe she liked Halloween.

Another one of those things on my chest
If I smile big, maybe she will not notice I'm trying to get this sticker off my chest so I can eat it

What?
Trying to tell us something
I believe she was thinking I give up, this lady is not getting it.

Mastering the monkey bars

I'm not going to lie, our kids do not get a long well all the time.  In fact, more often than not they are fighting and yelling at each other.  So moments like this, where they are getting along, playing together and even better helping each other are PRICELESS!!!  Therefore, they must be documented.  Today was a pretty fall day and we caught the kids playing outside on their playset.  Ella Catherine has finally mastered the monkey bars and she was trying to help Carter master them too.  So, it may look like she is trying to pull him off but in reality she is trying to hold him up so he feels comfortable letting go to grab the next bar.  I cherish moments like this.

Pumpkin Patch

We met Carter's preschool class at the pumpkin patch today for some fall fun.  Unfortunately, Matt had class but Nana came in town for the weekend and was able to come along for the fun.  The kids and parents had a blast.  Love that the activities were spread out because it meant the kids got lots of exercise.  Also, meant we had a quiet ride home from the Pumpkin patch.

Unfortunately, the sun was right in her eyes when I was trying to document how big she is getting

And look how big this guy is getting.  Eyes closed but still smiling

Ella Catherine got her bottle full of corn 1st

This was a fun exercise in trying to get through the maze without ringing a bell by touching the straps

Carter didn't want any part in a picture so just me and my girls!!!

Pulling the pumpkin off the vine proved to be more challenging than she thought

Carter found his pumpkin too and was more than happy to be in this photo
