Hot, tired and ready to go home.On the weekends, we try to get the kids outdoors as much as possible to enjoy some fresh air. This summer it has been a bit of a challenge because it has been so hot. However, our kids are early risers and so that gives us the mornings to get them out and about. The other weekend we decided to make it a family affair and we took the dogs to the dog park to play while the kids ran around. We had a woman and her two dogs join us while we were there. Ella Catherine is still pretty scared of dogs and doesn't really like them aproaching her(we are working on this but it it a slow process). She is better if she can make the moves, but most dogs are curious and want to sniff etc.. So, she wasn't too found of the other dogs. Carter on the other hand is a dog lover! He will watch and play with our dogs for hours. He loves lying on them and patting them. He is the same way with any dog he has come in contact with. These dogs were no exception. So, he decided to stay back in the dog park while I took Ella Catherine over to the playground to play. After the playground we came home, ate lunch and all took naps, canines included. It was GLORIOUS!
